Hello, my name is Brian Wood.

I am a graphic designer/photographer by trade, and have been working in the field since 1989. After receiving my Bachelor's degree from ENMU in Portales, New Mexico, I became employed as a graphic designer at an Albuquerque ad agency as well as the local Valencia County newspaper, the News-Bulletin. I am currently employed at the state's largest publishing company, Albuquerque Publishing Company. I also do freelance work on the side. In my spare time I like to take scenic and wildlife photography, and through the years, I've accumulated hundreds of images.

I used to be quite active and would go to great lengths and sometimes precarious positions to get some of these shots. In the early 90's however, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis which needless to say has slowed me down considerably since then. I still take photos when I get the chance, although my days of leaning over a 40 foot cliff with a rope tied around my waist or hiking deep into the forest seem to be over. Oh well.
